OK .. as allmost all of the users on the net i get alot of spam mail in my inbox.. and recently it started allso in my gmail account.. but why not implement spamcop into their mailsystem instead? They have a huge database of spammers & fraudent isp's.

The idea is to expand the database by having users report the spam that gets through. Spam and spammers are constantly evolving, so no list is ever perfect.
Spamcop are also notorious for false positives, and overzealous blocking of networks which weren't responsible for the spam generation.
